@QueenYandereWriter and if I am not wrong, you changed the plot right? I think it was on that particular night she was kidnapped by the Empress Mother/Empress Dowager and shipped off to Europe or somewhere and an English man, I suppose is smitten with her but is also married. I may be wrong and am narrating another book but just to be sure ...
