I haven't been on here in a while and log in to see that Let's Go for a Pint has reach the 60k reads/views milestone. It took ... nearly 2 years to reach that? Maybe I should check back in that time (or in September after it won a Watty 5 years ago)
Though it had been a while, but it's only been a month and a couple weeks. Anyway, was able to get started on another Pint universe story during NaNoWriMo. Made it to 50k, but still have plenty of story to go. Don't know when I'll have any of that to post.
I've been bit by the arts & crafts bug. While I've been introduced to diamond painting last year, it sort of shifted gears this year and I've been working on them for some time. Probably not going to have any new content to post in terms of LGFAP bonus episodes, however I may pop in every now and then to edit what I already have.
Yeah, that's pretty much it.
Haven't said much on here, have I? Then again, I don't do much around here.
Anywho, I'm planning on doing NaNoWriMo this year and while Let's Go for a Pint has more edits to go, it's gonna be a while until I get back to that, including the Episode 7 bonus. At least the main story is complete and you're not missing out much.

So the forums have been shut down. Currently it's in read only mode until August 12. While one can get writing tips from anywhere in the internet, the forums were a place where one can share their story for exposure and interact with other users on the site. The impression I get from their decision to deactivate the forums is users complained about it not being a safe space. It's all so sudden that they decided to close the forums as there was little warning to it. Any online platform will have a toxic circle and the best way to manage these circles is with proper moderation and a stronger team whether it's recruiting more mods or training them further. The reaction to this is pretty much cutting off the note to spite the face.
Wattpad does have guides for writers but it's not the same as posting a question and getting multiple answers. Not everyone uses social media platforms for promotion, though that may be the way it is until another method close to the site is active.

If you like a place to interact with other Wattpad users, there's the reddit sub (not affiliated with Wattpad) at r/Wattpad, and there are many discord servers dedicated to writing (one is linked in my profile).

Hopefully everyone is coping during this time of staying mostly indoors. If you're a front line worker whether you're in a medical setting or keeping us fed, keep on fighting the good fight.
Anyway, Let's Go for a Pint has reach the 50k views/reads milestone! Even if there's a good chunk of that me reviewing my own story for errors, I still thank you all who have read through it or maybe took a glance to read it later. I can't pinpoint where the 50,000th read/view came from, but judging from my feed I'm gonna give shoutouts to @nahyacrimson and @Miz_Inem as you both have contributed to that milestone push (You will be tagged again when I make this announcement in book). It may have taken 4 years and 4 months to reach it, but it's a reachable number.
If you haven't checked it out yet, I've posted back in January the first side story short in Tales from the Pint Universe. It's Christmas themed, but who says it has to be Christmas to read those stories?
I have one final assignment to hand in next week (at the time of this post) and I'll be done with my required courses for my medical transcription certificate. This should leave me some time create and work on more content, but don't expect anything to be updated soon. Brain needs a rest.
And speaking of rest, do your best not to overexert yourself. You may have a goal to write everyday, but do take time to rest. If you need to take the day off then take the day off. If you want to write 2 hours on one day so you can leave one day to rest then do that.

I was hoping to save my next post until I reach +/-50k in views/reads , but I have other news to bring about.
If you scroll through my announcements, I've been hinting at bringing about an anthology spinoff to Let's Go for a Pint and at this point I'm close to actually posting it and hoping to do it before my final online course starts on the 14th. The first story is going to be something set around Christmas even though both Western and Eastern versions will be done by the time it goes up.
As for your tip, time management skills are an asset. Whatever method you choose to build or improve, it can help in maximizing time for not only writing but also other fun activities. Sometimes the chore goes by faster if that's done first, and it might leave you more time to do something fun (like watching a movie or whatever it is you do for fun). Seriously, being an adult there is the freedom to whatever but not always the time and energy.

Episode 6 of Let's Go for a Pint has gone through edits so if you've read the earlier version, there has been some changes in hopes of making things cleaner. Bonus episode will take it's time as I haven't thought of one that would fit. It's either I follow what happens in the cold open (6.0) or follow up with Zenia and Brendan after the events in 6.5.
Tales from the Pint Universe anthology spinoff: Christmas story is near having that one part fixed before it goes into editing, and I did a little bit of editing of a story that will introduce a potential season 2 character (or characters). These are going at a snails pace as real life comes first.
