HAPPY TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO THE HTTYD FRANCHISE!! 10 years. 10 YEARS. I feel old. It has been a long journey- three movies, four tv series, and tons of shorts- and I have mixed emotions. One, i can't believe it completely slipped my mind. I should've had a one-shot prepared. Two, I have been a fan of HTTYD for as long as i can remember. I remember how EXCITED i was, for every movie, every new episode, every short, and now. .. ten years later.
I guess what I want to say is that you. Thank you to the franchise, the actors, the animators, writers, the ENTIRE crew for this. Thank you for teaching me about friendship, hope, love, sacrifice, change, and how it's good to be unique. Thank you for teaching me that adults and traditions are not always right, but new ways aren't always either. Thank you for giving me kindness, strength, and courage. And especially thank you to Cressida Cowell, who's amazing books inspired this equally amazing franchise. Thank you for making me a better person. Just. . .thank you.
