Going on a hiatus till first week of April 2025. Will pop back during end of November, January and during the ONC season. His days were a blur of routine — wake up, go to the river in hopes of a good catch, set up a stall in the market at midday and argue with the buyers regarding the price, have his lunch and get scolded by the wife for being late. Some days they might go to the temple during the evening service and on others he might spend talking with his fellow fishers. Come night he would down his dinner and would go to sleep. That was his life and of most others in Memphis. Their days were predictable, if not a little bland, save for the days of festivities. Speaking of which, Opet was still two weeks away."

Well, subh deepawali & happy halloween, guys! After taking a month-long break from Wattpad, here I am back with updates about what's going to happen in these last two months of the year. And it's quite a bit to unpack ;⁠)
          
          First up, a big thanks to the @Ambassadors for featuring Mina (my ONC 2022 entry) in their Halloween newsletter and 'Speculative Fiction ' reading list. Big thanks to @AstaniaCommunity as well for electing Underneath (my ONC 2023 entry) as their book club's book of the month for October. These things really made me very happy and energised me to get back here as soon as possible. Really, thank you so much for honouring me with these features! 
          
          Secondly, expect regular updates to resume for ATBS (A Tale of Blood and Shadows). I am hoping to wrap up its second part by November so by December we will only have the last part to go. Alongside that I'll try my hands in trying finish a story in one month (November). I won't be strictly participating in Nanowrimo (that is, use the website) yet the desire to try my hands at writing something new is always present. So, welcome 'The Ennead Murders', my entry of sorts for Nanowrimo/DANM. It's a mystery/thriller set in ancient Egypt, following a Medjay detective as he tries to solve a serial murder case. Some of you guys will 100% recognise the main characters in this story. 
          
          Lastly, I'll be adding 6-7 stories in a reading list, stories which I'd love finish by the end of 2024. Also, if you are participating in Nanowrimo or any adjacent writing contest in November, please drop the links to your works here :⁠-⁠)
