@Queenie_magnificent Hmmm, this is hard. But whenever I want to write, I make sure I'm in a quiet place and I'm comfortable. I make sure there are no distractions. I think of a plot, write it down more or less. Then think of the setting, a time and place. I brainstorm ideas of the story. Sometimes I make a list of the plot sequence of events, like how it'll start then what might happen next and so on forth. I make another list for characters that will be in the story and sometimes I choose names that are significant in a way for the most crucial characters in the story. I use to write my stories with the first person and the third person mixed, but I saw it was confusing for readers. So now I write mainly the first person. Once I choose a plot for the story, I make sure to cover all plot holes, therefore nothing will be confusing. Whenever I have an idea that pops in my head, I simply write it down in my little pocketbook. Learn some basic grammar, so you don't make a lot mistakes with punctuations, tenses and other such details. I look up online legit tutorials on how to write dialogue that sounds natural including tutorials and articles that explain how to write different things in a novel or book. I always believed that if you want to write about something, write what you know. For inspiration that's mainly up to you. I'm guessing if you like something write about it. I don't know what else to tell you.
