Aspiring writer who needs to take more time editing already written work so I can finally share before bouncing onto a new project.

Cool Personal Facts/Get to Know Me:
I'm a phlebotomist/specimen processor on third shift at a hospital. Essentially I take people's blood (I'm mostly working in the nursery atm), and a sort through blood, shit, and piss to send off to the correct stations in the hospital laboratory. I LOVE my job.

I am more terrified of showing my writing to people I know than strangers online.

My father was a Literature/English professor and started my love for reading and writing very early, as well as hooking me onto my favorite genres. We all joke I am, in fact, a gayer clone of him.

One thing I want to push in my writing is putting characters who are often treated as "token diversity" characters (whether it's race, gender identity, disability, sexuality, physical appearances, mental illness) into the forefront of my stories. Because in my life those aren't token characters, those are my dear friends, family, loved ones, and myself! I don't like thinking of it as an agenda, I like thinking of it as writing what life is actually like (even if in the story life also involves magic, monsters, and mind blowing tech still out of our reach).
