Apparently there was a genetic experiment to fight AIDS in felines where they inserted some anti AIDS genes into cats, but to make sure it worked they fused the anti AIDS gene with jellyfish genes that produce fluorescent proteins, causing the cats to glow in the dark if the experiment worked, which it did, so there are now glow in the dark cats somewhere out there and this is Important Information
