I really enjoyed your story Threefold Deviation the scene where Kael and Toren whisper their doubts during the drill really stood out to me it felt like the first crack in the perfect control the Union demands, and Jonas’ panicked warning about “the stones” added so much tension do you think Jonas’ outburst was more about protecting the boys from punishment or was it his own fear slipping through?
