@garva1234.
            So we started discussing the idea of Project Horizon quite a while ago, early last year if I remember correctly, but once the actual writing process started, we finished writing the prologue and chapter 1, and then uploaded those as the sort of “pilot” chapters.
            Repo is busy enough as it is with his job and other fics, and I’m in school and in my final year before graduation, so that doesn’t help either. The currently consistent upload schedule of the LOTMxCOTE fanfic can be thanked in large part due to Repro having already prepared a back-log of chapters before he started uploading. The last thing me or Repro want to do is make Project Horizon become an additional burden for Repro, or for myself, so we have chosen to write it with any urgency or external pressure taken out of the equation, since that would only be a burden on us both and suck away the joy.

            As a side note, by the time the first volume is uploaded, the cursed technique descriptions will likely have been updated more than a few times. My most recent update to the cursed technique descriptions was 3-4 days ago, and I predict that the current descriptions as they stand will remain largely unchanged for the rest of our time writing Project Horizon, seeing as I’ve essentially finalized them and ironed out all the details, polished them, etc. So if you haven’t read the descriptions recently, I’d recommend you do so, seeing as you’ve read them at all (at your own risk, haha, they are technically spoilers).

            I hope this answers your question.

First of all, thank you for your praise, it’s great to hear.
            Secondly, no, Project Horizon isn’t dropped. That being said…

            Project Horizon is a fic that we always planned to only upload more chapters of once we have finished writing the entirety of the first volume. As for when to expect that, don’t hold your breath. Project Horizon is a fic that we are each essentially treating as a side passion project, meaning that when and how we work on it is a matter of us writing it in a way and at a pace that doesn’t sacrifice enjoyment, and is done when we both have the time, energy, and motivation to do so. For Repo, he was clear with me from the start (when we first started collaborating on this fic) that he did not want to be pressured into an upload schedule, and that he didn’t want readers to demand things of him and complain about the writing of the fic while the fic is ongoing. He has experienced annoyance and pressure from readers with previous fics in the past, where people would either complain about the upload schedule, or when a new chapter dropped they would complain about how the story is going and continue to complain until the next chapter dropped, etc.
