When I'm not writing fiction I'm riding or fixing motorcycles, making noodles, or camping. I have an affinity for typewriters and maps and, generally, doing things the slow way.
I enjoy writing quiet stories focused on characters, though building expansive and complex worlds is quite fun, as well.
I'm often haunted by a persistent question, a question I have struggled to answer, and my hope is to one day be able to answer that question through my writing: Why hasn't there been a good Robin Hood adaptation since the 1950's?
