I don’t know if it’s just me but I really dislike those “melanin” “compliments” because it’s like as if they think I’m insecure about being dark when I’m not i see them more now because colorism is being addressed more now. And I seen a video were this girl was making a video and ppl were in the comments was like well it’s easier for you for a lightskin and her Bestfriend was like why they commenting like a can’t get a man mind you she has a lot on the roaster according to her bff. But yeah there just irritating because all you can talk about is skin just say I’m pretty
@moon24blue I get that but it’s annoying they don’t compliment other black lightskin women like that just for me it’s annoying bc I feel they think I’m insecure and do that because a lot of darkskin women express their insecurity about bc of the colorism and I’m not it’s just irritating for me

Melani=Pretty to me <3 And I get how that sounds, saying that lightskin women have it easier, but it's true. People are rude, nasty, and colorist to black women, especially when they're darkskin. But yea, I just take it as a compliment since everyone would be racist towards us, and our skin. Now we just reverse that, and use it as a compliment. :) ☺️ ☺️
