I am an avid reader of fiction, any genre will do. On occasion, I will rock non-fiction. However, fiction is my favorite. I enjoy being swept away into a different world other than reality.
I have always wanted to write but have never really put forth a genuine effort until recently. I am excited that I have almost completed my first draft of a novel I am writing. This journey has taught me a few things, 1) the writing muse is a fickle friend, and 2) writer's block is your worst enemy.
So you have to learn to write when muse refuses to hangout. Sometimes you have to coax her to come out, make her jealous of writer's block when he comes around. When the Muse eventually comes out to play writer's block seems to disappear.
