Hello FF fans! I’ve been wondering about all the gifts I could give this year. So, I’m committing to consistently releasing chapters in 2024.
The plan is one chapter every other month. Since I’ve outlined 60% of Fleeing Fate, it’s much easier to write chapters without the impending fear of imposter syndrome. I’m a better writer, person, and learner/thinker now. I know my identity and have gone through much trial and error, which is the whole gist of Fleeing Fate. (Growing and learning how to digest and apply the lessons of the bad that’s happened to you.)
I want my readers and colleagues to grow like Y/N in the story through the help of surrounding people. The goal of this story is for it to hit close to home while still giving you joy and optimism for your and Y/N’s future. I hope you fellow readers feel the care and love through the writing style and immense thought I’ve put into making these characters my own. (It’s been two years of creating this story. <3) I also hope you take those good feelings and spread them whether that may be to one another or a stranger you’re unaware needs it.
Enough of the rambling. I said all that to express how excited I am to be in the best mental state to write and edit this story, even though I’m probably speaking to myself. But small moments like these make the bigger ones worth it.
