Hi ... thanks for checking out my profile. 

My name is R.E. Vance (Ramy) and although I'm half American, half Egyptian, I somehow managed to find myself in Edinburgh, Scotland. I love it here and hope to be Scottish one day ... now, if only I can find a clan who will accept me :)

Although I've written a whole host of stuff, my focus now (and for the foreseeable future) is to write stories in Paradise Lot. The premise of my Urban Fantasy world is simple enough: 

The gods are gone. All of them.

Their last message to humanity was: "Thank you for believing in us, but it is not enough. We're leaving. Good luck." At first no one took them seriously. Until, that is, all the denizens of all the heavens and hells started showing up on people's doorsteps. 

Creatures that were once thought of as myth are now refugees striving to adapt to life on earth. Trouble is, after eons of living forever, they're not very good at being mortal.
