@RHPSLover I never got into the show because I had already read most of the books by that point.  If it's that different from them, then maybe I'll start watching the show again :)

@Taztaboo I have read a few of the Sookie Stackhouse novels but I stopped because the books and show started to deviate to much that I was getting confused and I like the show better than the books (which is rare for me).

          By the way, have you read the series of books that True Blood is based on? I'm not sure how closely the show follows the books now though.
