They say write what you know.
Well, I have a big, crazy, dysfunctional family that comes from a chaotic upbringing and we are far from perfect; therefore, I write flawed characters in non-traditional situations. If you need every issue resolved and perfectly happy endings, my stories will probably disappoint you.
