R.L. Malone (1978 - ) was born in St. Marys, PA. He is a college graduate from Clarion University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Real Estate and received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. He is a divorced father of two little girls whom he spends every chance with that he can get. He enjoys reading, movies, music and of course writing. He is still amazed that he fancies a career in writing when many years ago he dropped out of Webelos because he was expected to write a two hundred word essay on The Star Spangled Banner, thus preventing him from ever learning how to tie a proper knot. The irony doesn't stop with the aspiring career in writing, because he is also very patriotic and loves the U.S.A. His interest in writing began in high school when some of his short stories were praised by his English class teachers. Since then the thought of publishing novels of all kinds has been at the forefront of his mind. Some of his favorite authors are Stephen King, James Patterson, Tom Clancy, Douglas Adams, and Steve Alten. He hopes one day to get his pilot's license, as his father developed in him a fondness for aviation over the years. A healthy fear of crashing has prevented him from doing so thus far.
