Feeling much better than yesterday. Just need a good night's sleep and some rest from ALL of this work and these exams I have to do.
Logged on here to wish everybody on here an Eid Mubarak!
Me personally, I straightened my hair, but it still seems fried like you just plugged me into a socket, okay, maybe not that bad, but hey, it's still pretty fried. My grandfather bought me the nicest Eid clothes from Pakistan, they're a dark navy blue colour but then they have nice bright embroidery on them, and they're so comfortable and casual I can wear them again!
But you know what the best part of Eid is? THE FOOD. My mum got up early, and just COOKED some really nice food for us all. Rice, curry, kebabs, she got this cake for us, chicken- and that's what I can just think of off the top of my head.
I'm having a great Eid, I hope you are too.
But putting us privileged ones behind, just think of those children in the developing countries who are not as privileged as us, and are not lucky enough to have an Eid like you or me.
Let's hope they're happy, and let's hope life gets better for them.
So really, Eid Mubarak to all, I hope you all have an EIDmazing (that was a terrible pun I know you don't have to tell me) day!
:-)
