Been a few days overdue but I'm just gonna say this now.
          
          The year is now 2026. Hope you had a great time celebrating the New Year festivities and bonding family and friends with memories and pondering on the futures on what lies ahead...
          
          New year, new changes on what comes next going forward.

          First off, Future Warp. More than a week ago, two new chapters ("For Azur Lane!" and "The Aftermath") had just been released, and obviously, several more are underway. They're just on the early development stages but I had written specific plot points and a bundled bunch of paragraphs in advance on how the cast of Future Warp will experience (i.e, a terrorist attack; hint hint). Still, it's just the start and I've yet to know when do I actually use it.  Given the three-month delay, don't expect this to be out quickly, I'm just trying to maintain my own story writing quality.
          
          Second, remember the story named "Detective Stranger" that was previously said last year to replace "Master Detective: Kirasagi"? That one, I am now working on it as well, after I had previously rewritten and removed much of the paragraphs and adding few lines in its place. 
          
            First off, I've decided that once Act 1 is completed, I decided that I will go ahead and release it into Archive of our Own (AO3) site this time, as I had earlier found out that it is possible to have original works there too besides fanfiction.
          
              However, here comes the second bit... Act 1's nowhere near finished, not by just 70%. In an effort to replace Kirasagi, I had written more lines than I could initially think of just to accommodate the investigation thriller, mystery and some upcoming action and gore that were to come for the first act of Detective Stranger [note that this might not be a complete title].
          
          Release date for [Detective Stranger] remains unknown.
          
          Anyway that's all of the news I can put out here, running out of space. I'll make a follow-up in a later date but for now...

          With it close to finished, I just pushed forward and here it is. Merry Christmas! Think of it as a Christmas gift, or just don't because it's been quite a long while and trying to add in more action and character involvement seems to be a bad idea, but it paid off nonetheless to getting this done.

          Additional note(s):
          I've decided to keep Chapter 41 (Collision) as it is as soon as I had jsut about to finish writing Chapter 40 (Trapped to a Breaking Point). Since it takes place in 2022, that would not matter much, especially as this is a fanfiction story. "Collision" was in its completed state just a few days before Kirk's death, and at this point, it was decided that attempting to reconfigure the story at this state, as well as other preceding chapters that featured Travis Larkin, would take too long and create unnecessary plot holes.
          
          I am stipulating that this story does not condone any form of political violence (and is in no way meant to take a jab against the political aisle),
          
          Apologies for the long wait and the amount of offense it's about to cause...

Some grim news that needs to be reported; it had just happened, so it is best to wait it out for the situation to develop, stay calm, and to keep in touch with your family...

          Work on Chapter 41 (tentatively titled: Collision) was already completed 2 days ago and was slated to be released alongside Chapter 40 (tentatively titled: Noble Cause to the Breaking Point), but the events in Utah following the death of Charlie Kirk, have led to an indefinite delay as I need to reconsider on the direction of how this story is about to go.
          
          To clarify; Chapter 40 is nearly complete, and this will be the first and only chapter likely to be released this month, while I'm currently deciding whether if I scrap Chapter 41 completely or rewrite it going forward. 
          
          This is because the 41st chapter will include a far-right terrorist organization who Travis Larkin (Richard Ambrose's assailant) is revealed to be affiliated to, but the death of Kirk had put myself and this story in an uncomfortable position. The previous chapters had already set the stage on what is going to be like and so they may likely be reworked too if I must do choose but time will tell...

          As a non-American, there's no way I will ever know him, nor if I would ever understand, but all I can say is Kirk had left behind their loving wife and two children and they, as well as most Americans never asked for this.
          
          This won't give them what they (his killer) would want, other than to drive political polarization further than they could ever bounce back on. There will be no more apologies, and they'll be trusting one another no more.
          
          Regardless of who is to blame, who even really asked for it, or what to gain out of his death, even if they are caught, it is most likely that they have already ruffled their feathers and soon the fates of several others have now long been predetermined... 
          
          May he rest in peace. :(

In regards of the upcoming chapters 40 and 41 of AL: Future Warp - The Retelling, there is an issue I would like to confess; the 40th chapter is not even close to being done. The chapter would cover the Siren invasion but attempting to transfer the old story and then rewrite it altogether to match up with the plot, is taking a lot longer than expected. Meanwhile the 41st chapter is about 75% completed (this one would involve a raid). At this rate, these chapters will be out by September at best... Both of these are bogged by my own pacing for both the story and how much I tried to write it...
          
          Sorry for the white lie I said but they will be released, just that its being pushed back.
