goddamn dude that ending…I mean like, shit. it was okay, I'm not going to say it was entirely bad because I think that it definitely had its redeeming qualities — and I feel qualified to say that as someone whose degree is in media comm. but I definitely think that there were very very big plotholes that were just very hard to overlook BUT I think that a lot of fans got lost in the theories, albeit the theories were honestly really good and made sense of this season that, hate to say it, felt incredibly rushed for a season that took two (?) years to finish…I just, it deserved something with more grit, something with such a deep tug that really wrapped things together and felt final. I loved the final song choice, it felt nostalgic, but the ending didn't feel entirely complete. I don't know…maybe I need more time to process. I just feel like the duffers really dropped the ball with season five, it definitely was their icarus and I really do hate to say that.

completely agree with that! it was so rushed and felt underwhelming with no stakes - and don’t get me wrong i’m happy most people got happy endings but it felt like such a lazy way to do it

so much has happened within the span of a year fam, I became a kpop fan and have gone to so many concerts and am actually starting to live my life and go out and have fun, its crazy and liberating! for the time being, since im on a break before hopefully starting grad school, I think I want to start getting back into writing!! the tower will forever and always be my baby soooo we'll see!

@-mxyfieldz / i actually liked it and felt like it characterized eddie fairly well and set the tone for who we see in season four. it wasn't perfect but it wasn't entirely bad either. it's a story about a beaten down eighteen year-old who doesn't know where he fits or if he even fits at all, so he burns bridges, falls in love with someone that see's past all the hawkins bullshit (I mean I didn't care for the paige subplot either, but what can you do?), and ultimately goes through this dungeon of disaster in order to come to terms with who he is—where his story lies. what i liked is that eddie is this character that you see in yourself, in the people around you, he's jaded and life has done a number on him but he's trying...i don't know, some people just interpret things differently.

@ROGUEANDOR // imo it was really bad. Like it didn’t sound like his character at all and it was portrayed horribly. Like we did not need to know about his love interest, we did not need him to change and become a whole different person… and paige? why. If only it was kept between them being friends, i would’ve been fine but it was just an awful book. The way Eddie treats his uncle was so unfair, and we never got much about him which pissed me off even more lmfao. I wanted to know where he got his tattoos the meanings, also about his mom, and his friends and more. Like… it was just not the way i expected nor wanted.

I truly pray one day the Palestinian people will know peace and freedom. Keep fighting y’all! Keep calling and emailing your reps, keep advocating and sharing and amplifying these voices that are being stifled. Do all that you can and more. Please please please do not stop talking about this. The boycotts are slowly but surely working, they see the protests, they see that we’re no longer being passive consumers, contributing to our subjugation. 
          
          Keep fighting for Palestine, for Congo, for Sudan, for Hawaii, for every single marginalized and oppressed community that needs a voice.  
          
          Do not give up.
