Replaced Charlotte’s breakdown in the second act of Chapter 22 with Otome’s, since Otome, as a deuteragonist, would realistically have some of the most severe psychological struggles in the story (just behind Natalia) rather than a secondary character like Charlotte.
Rewriting the second act of Chapter 22 out because I realized that Charlotte's breakdown needed a longer buildup.
I'm thinking about rewriting The Sapien from scratch because of plot holes & feeling like the story isn't compelling enough.
@Ryannosaurus-rex Main issue is the Grace/Kaia rescue arc & Captain Sango using Natalia to rescue her (which I feel would be out of character for someone like Sango). But I guess Natalia rescuing slaves from the Salmonids works fine.

Also, happy 1 year anniversary to The Sapien! (May 2025 - May 2026)
Made a change to Chapter 3: Ruth hits the thug (who stabbed Otome) with a shovel instead of Charlotte.
Reason for change: I felt that Ruth was being underutilized.
Decided to just finish Chapter 21 the way it is bc it's already long enough. Moving onto Chapter 22, but may take time due to polytech.
Added another scene to Chapter 21.
Renamed Kaia Shirui to "Grace Takahashi" to be more original.
Finally regained the confidence to work on Chapter 21.
Added a flashback in Chapter 20 of The Sapien.
