I write strong yet relatable heroines, flawed but redeemable heroes, and the occasional villain you'll love to hate. I like to subvert tropes to create original ways of looking at the familiar. Common elements include intriguing settings, art & architecture; exploration of immortality (both literal & figurative); hiding symbolism in plain sight; ending chapters with kick-ass cliffhangers; and centering girls who rescue themselves.
