RUI IS MINE PERIOD

If rui was tanjiro and tanjiro was rui, that means tanjiro would be mean right? Because if tanjiro and rui switched places, then rui would be the one who's protective of his family and then tanjiro would be the one who thinks that if a family doesn't follow roles then it shouldn't be right? Or would tanjiro still be tanjiro as rui and rui still be rui as tanjiro?
