Valentine's Day was coming, and that meant only one thing: Valentino was throwing a party, and he was going, and everyone was going to have fun, dancing, and taking as many drugs and alcohol as possible, including him. He was probably going to end up in bed with some demon whose face he wouldn't even remember by the end of the party. He was going to have fun, yet his thoughts were elsewhere. Always in the same spot, always with Husk. It had been so long since they'd ended their friendship. 
          
          And tonight he should have slept, but his thoughts continued to haunt him. He tossed and turned in his bed, but that wasn't the solution, he had to text Husk. So, he started typing something on his keyboard. "Hey Whiskers, how you doing?" And then "I miss you." Nope, too cheesy. Maybe that wasn't the right thing to do. He had to put down the phone and try to sleep, and as he did, a call to Husk inadvertently went out.

Angel hadn't shown up at the Hotel for a few weeks. He'd been with Valentino and the other Vees the whole time, doing his job, back to the life he'd had before the Hotel. His only intention was to get Fat Nuggets back. He hadn't seen his little piglet in a while, and he'd decided not to bring him with him after the whole mess, just to let him relax a bit. And once he reached the hotel doors, he sighed deeply, crept in, clutching his arm with one of his hand while his eyes stared at the floor.

          Husk knew exactly who he was dealing with. While he didn't fight Adam head on, it was still easy to recognize the fallen angel by his looks, with his mask now permanently stuck onto his face. But Husk did as he was told, turning around to gather the bottles from the shelves behind him. "You must be pretty brave to show your face around here. Or stupid. Whatever you decide."

          Alastor's eyes remained on him. Those damn eyes. The eyes that seem to follow him everywhere, even when he knew that the radio demoness wasn't around. In the deepest recesses of his brain, where they followed him into his nightmares, no matter how much booze he drowned in attempt to be rid of them.
          
          "Everyone's been fine, I guess. Charlie is a little too happy go lucky sometimes, but she's not terrible." He said, not meeting Alastor's gaze as he grabbed a rag to clean the already pristine bartop.

          "Yeah, I got that." Husk grumbled as he turned around to look for the requested bottle. Even with his back turned on his boss, he could feel the radio demon's eyes piercing his skin, making him shudder slightly as he prepared the drink, passing it off to Alastor without a word.

          The sound of Alastor's voice made him growl softly. "Surprised to see you here. But sure I do. Anything in particular you're looking for?"
