I have written several books. They are all now in the rewrite stage of production, and I've tried to have them published. No success as of right now. So I have decided to publish online in hopes I will receive good reviews and maybe be noticed by someone who can help me become a published author. However, that being said, I believe I have focused too much on my aspiration to be published and not enough on writing. It used to be something I HAD to do for a peaceful state of mind. Lately, though, I've not been writing much of anything. It's quite unfortunate. That's changing. I'm slowly reconnecting with my characters and continuing being their vessel to tell their stories. They have always been there, at the back of my brain, urging me to write. Everything doesn't last forever, but some things just needs time to breathe and mature before allowing you to continue.
My characters are reaching out their hands to me, and I am reaching out with both hands. I hear them whispering to run, but first I need their assistance climbing back to my feet. I would like to be published one day, but right now, accompanying this website, I am reconnecting with my roots to write for pleasure, for my own state of mind, instead of a bit of fame and fortune.
