Hi, Ronii, and thank you for voting on Risking All for Love.
          
          The story begins at Holy Cross Mission in the remote African village of Bolahun, Liberia, where I served as a Peace Corps teacher.
          
          So my experience in Africa is woven into the story narrative. Real people inspired my characters.
          
          The scene in the mission tea room includes the names of people who really served at the mission.
          
          I included myself in that scene. I was the character known as "Perk."
