Writing therapeutically. It's no fun listening to someone else's input, but if it's a story, it feels like it's about you. It's also harder to interrupt a novel than a woman trying to talk, especially if the story is done well. 
If anyone else likes the stories, I'll attempt the long, difficult quest of attempting to publish.
