I know I haven't updated anything in FOREVER no excuses. Except, you know, life.
To all of my recently new followers: Thank you SO much for your interest and support!
To everyone:
I have recently resurrected dozens of notebooks and computer files with pages, snippets, and doodles of ideas for stories and/or books. This does not necessarily mean that I will be following up on all or any of them, but know that writing something again has been very much on my mind.
Also very much and very recently on my mind (well, more like hammering on my mind) is a scene from a book. A book that I cannot, for the life of me, remember the name of... or the name of any of the characters, or even if the book is on my kindle, nook, or from wattpad. All I remember is the scene. So I'm going to describe it below and cross all my fingers and toes and hope that any of you might know what book I'm talking about...
Okay, the scene is where the hero proposes to the heroine
("So-and-so, will you marry me?")
(Heroine: "No!")
Then I think the chapter ends, or something...
Cut to the mind of the heroine.
(I didn't realize I had said that out loud until I saw his face)
...some talking happens....
(Heroine: "That no wasn't a "no", it was more like a thought, spoken out loud."
(Hero: "?")
(Heroine: "I said "no" not to your proposal, but to YOU proposing to ME. I wanted to be the one to propose to you!")
End of my memory
Does any of that ring a bell for any of you?
Please tell me it does....
