I am unpublishing most if not all my works on Wattpad Due to the recent discovery of my work being published on another site by someone who is impersonating me. https://truyen4u.net/author/RaeParks18. The only possible place they could have stolen my work is here in Wattpad since it has all my posted works compared to my Ao3 account. I am deeply concerned for all the authors who use this site and angry. I encourage everyone to be aware and keep your eyes out in case you are in a similar situation. I only found out due to googling my username.

          I am sorry to everyone who had been enjoying my book, but I feel that this is the best course of action.

I still have it under drafts here on Wattpad plus printed copies, in revision copies and my original handwritten draft with my notes.

@RaeParks18 It's okay, I don't mind the rant...

            I agree with your father, to an extent. Personally, if you have a manuscript or any other body of work you would like to get published the traditional way [through a publisher], I wouldn't recommend sharing it online either unless it was already for sale. (None of the books I share on here are ones I don't think would ever get stolen, even though I fully believe it is Wattpad's responsibility to protect them.) Because there's always that risk. Yeah, it's easy to gain attention on writing apps now, but it's also easy to get plagiarized or stolen from. And it's harder to protect them when you don't have a huge agency or a licensed copyright.

            BUT none of this is your fault. Someone in your audience betrayed your trust and that's on them. Screw that.

            Please keep each and every proof you have that YOU are the one who posted your work FIRST (which is imperative that you only unpublish and not delete your work), and don't feel disheartened by this incident. You'll get past this.

            Stay strong!

@NiamhChase Thank You, I already made a report to Wattpad. No response yet though, I am hoping for the best. Honestly a part of me just feels like an idiot. My Father wasn't too keen about me posting here on Wattpad or online in general. He told me that someone would try and steal it. Looks like he was right. Sorry for ranting
