I have a feeling that Rich has been feeling like he’s alone for awhile now.  Whether he dies or not, he will feel like no one cares about  him which is why he didn’t say anything about the Tumors anyway.  He’s not the best character in the book, but I feel like Zac and Fatima treat him like shit
