Rafael Hohmann is a bestselling Brazilian-American author of high fantasy and dark fantasy fiction. Born in the dungeon of a castle, he is best known for his SunRider series and taking over as head instructor for the late David Wolverton's fantasy writing courses. He studied Creative Writing at the University of Utah and obtained a degree in Business Administration at WGU, with a focus on developing new and emerging companies.
