Honestly both would be fine but I feel like 2 parts would just sit better if that makes sense? Like it would make the pacing feel more natural and everything would feel more organized? As a person who’s written a 15k word one shot and a 16k one separated into 3 parts, I preferred the 3 parts because it lets readers concentrate on different things at a time so for you this first part could be like the build-up to the good part which would be the second part. But you know I would read it regardless 💋 heheheeh I’m so excited
