Colleen Hurst has been writing for a couple decades.  She is not only an award-winning poet but an international author as well.  She became motivated to finish at least one of her stories following a bout with chemotherapy and radiation.   She currently has on AMAZON:  3 poetry collections, a 4-book fantasy series (of which book one is on this platform), a non-fiction book about living with Bipolar Disorder, and is just releasing her first Oleander Syndicate historical adventure novel.
