O Death, O Death.
Won't you spare me over 'til another year?
Well what is this, that I can't see?
With ice cold hands taking hold of me.
When God is dead and the Devils gone.
Who'll have mercy on my soul?
If I open the door to heaven or hell.
No wealth, no land, no silver, nor gold.
Nothing satisfies me anymore.
So Death, come to take the soul.
Leave the body and leave it cold.
