Hello friends. I wanted to stop by with an update, as I haven’t posted anything new in a long time. I have some enormous changes going on that haven’t left me with much writing time.
          	
          	My family has decided to move from Colorado to Florida. I just accepted a job offer out there today, and put in my two week notice at the employer where I have worked for the last fifteen years. My last day will be May 12th… exactly one week short of my fifteen year anniversary there. My start date at the new job is May 22nd, which gives me just a week to pack as much as I can and make the three day drive down there. I will be living there alone until the end of June, then flying back here to take our Africa trip the first two weeks of July. I am hoping that when we get back from Africa, my wife and son will be ready and packed so we can all go back to Florida together.
          	
          	Somewhere in all this I have to keep up with finals for the coding bootcamp I’m enrolled in.
          	
          	2022-2023 has turned into a complete upset for my life. I have to believe it’s meant to be… I have wanted to live by the beach, in a tropical climate, my whole life. Sometimes miserable things happen in order to push us out of our comfort zones so that we’ll take risks to get closer to our dreams.
          	
          	Anyway, I just wanted to check in and share what was going on and explain my absence. I will still be writing, but may not have more updates for a while yet as we are getting our life here dismantled and resurrecting it far, far away.
          	
          	I hope all of you are doing well, and chasing your dreams too ~

Hi everyone - at 2 AM on the last day of this somewhat wretched year, I have finally posted the next COVENANT update. It's a bit short, with some drama and some sweetness and some mystery. The next chapter is one I'm not sure I'm happy with, but I will keep plugging away at it and see where it leads. I know it has been ages since the last update, so I hope this will be a nice revival of the story for many of you.
          
          I am still writing. Even when it's hard, writing reminds me who I am. It's a truth of my self that has remained the same since I was born. And when I'm feeling lost and rotted out... it's the thing that reminds me that I'm still me. So hang in there with me, friends, because this story's going to keep going to the end <3
