Okay I've read this "Gate" book titled "The Gate to Nowhere" and hear me out. I'm not the type of person to harass somebody nor shitting on someone's work I'm just expressing my opinion but my fucking god the inaccuracies I've is absurd. The author probably wanted to nerf America to a ridiculous level where the technology inferior enemy which was like medieval era shit I don't fucking know I didn't finish the shit because I couldn't stand it. I understand if it's for the plot but that doesn't give it an excuse for the bad representation of one of the world's most powerful countries. Another thing to point out is seriously how they butchered the US Special Forces units like Delta getting their asses handed you fucking kidding me? And also the amount of typos is insane, I mean if you're writing for fun why not keep an eye out for typos? And like Abrams 120mm SABOT shell bouncing off a Tiger I's armor you have to be kidding me like I must be dreaming or some shit, goddamn. Take note if you try to nerf a country because you probably don't like it then maybe you could've picked something else because its getting on people's nerves. I'm sorry if it's somehow incomprehensive to read I just lost my braincells trying to figure the problems out with this book and it's writing its just absurd. Again I'm not saying that my books are better or anything and I'm not shitting on other people's work I just couldn't get a grasp of the fact that down playing a country beyond incompetence is insane and I'm flabbergasted. Also before writing military fanfic at least do some decent levels of research and get some stuff right and also listen to criticism and not be a snowflake when taking them.

@Raider2-1 I mean...yeah I read it too and I lost a tactical braincell every chapter...it was bad. Another thing that makes me mad is so many books and popular media, both here and elsewhere making Marines out to be some SOF unit and the best of the best in the US. They're good but doing things that actual SOF like FORECON, MARSOC, USASOC, AFSOC, NSW, should be doing...and it makes me mad how little love the Special operations community is shown. I would write my own stories but I have so little inspiration and willpower it'd be like 5-10 chapters before I get bored and discontinue it...

@Raider2-1 Don't even mind someone like him, since it's all a mad dream with zero respect to physics it had lost all accordance to understand it except acknowledge it as a wehraboo wet dream. Probably just to make his fellow wehraboo go orgasm and pissed off others. Which is a total waste of time, might as well go look for something that's actually good or try to develop one yourself.
