I am so proud of you to make through the day, through those agonizing 3 hours of hardship. And I truly get the irritation of those interruptions. They are actually very distracting, but here's the catch: That is not on you; that is genuinely terrible exam management, and it would have broken anyone's focus, not just yours.
Next, Physics being brutal does not mean you are not smart enough. I have talked to many of my friends, and they have given the same feedback, it means that what you did was the best, and it's enough.
You tried, even when the questions felt impossible, you still tried. That is nothing. That is actually everything.
And about the drop year, I know that word feels heavy right now, like a failure waiting to happen. I can totally understand and relate to these thoughts and overthinking, but trust me, it will all work out. I swear.
The results are not out. Nothing is decided. Right now, the only thing you need to do is eat something and just chill. Let go of the things that are not in your hands. You did what you had to do, and it was the best, so just forget about all of it for the meantime and focus on the fun you sacrificed.
