Sneak Peak @ Love and Marriage
“Baby!” Jesse yelled from upstairs.
“Yes, babe?” I yelled back. He came running down the stairs in a cute tan sweater I had bought for him a while ago.
“Two things, one please put your shoes in the closet, I just stepped on your heels. And two, when are we going to go grocery shopping for thanksgiving?”
I gave him a quick peck. “Sorry, babe. We should go today, it’s Sunday but if we don’t go then everyday more and more people are going to be there and then they'll run out of stuff and then we'll have to go to more stores and then it's going to take longer and longer.”
“Alright, let’s go and we'll make a list in the car.” He said, slapping his hands together. I frowned and crossed my arms.
“Can we later? I don’t feel like it.” I said as I wrapped my arms around him and placed my face into his chest.
“You’re not going to feel like it later either. Stop procrastinating, love.” He said. He kissed the top of my head.
“Fine, Is Diana coming? Ooh, we need to stop at Target to get all of the home stuff we need like towels and sheets and an air mattress, like a really good one, and we need some decor because it would be nice to spice it up a little. Also I want to get some of our stuff from whole iofoods, because the quality might be a little better but I’ll let you know which stuff.”
“One thing at a time baby. Diana’s coming. You wanna drive?”
“Nah.”
“Alright LET'S GO!” He yelled upstairs.
Diana yelled back, “I’m coming!”
I grabbed my purse and did a quick mental checklist to make sure I had everything. Diana came running downstairs as we were putting our coats on.
