a reminder to everyone who immediately labels improved writing as "AI":
Writers are supposed to improve.
No one starts their writing journey producing their best work. every chapter written, every book finished, every critique accepted, and every year spent practicing shapes an author's voice. comparing someone's newest work to something they wrote years ago and concluding, "It must be AI," ignores what growth looks like.
Improvement is not evidence of dishonesty. It's often evidence of persistence.
before accusing someone of using AI, ask yourself whether you have actual evidence or whether you're simply surprised by how much they've grown. a polished style, better grammar, richer vocabulary, or stronger storytelling are all things a dedicated writer can achieve through experience. creative communities thrive when we encourage people to become better writers, not when we punish them for succeeding. If every improvement is met with suspicion, we're sending the message that authors should never evolve.
Critique the writing if you wish. discuss the plot, the pacing, the characters, or the dialogue. but don't accuse someone of cheating without good reason. false accusations can damage reputations and discourage people who have spent years developing their craft.
every published author has early drafts they'd probably write differently today. Growth is part of being an artist. It should be celebrated; not treated as proof of wrongdoing.

@StalkersiYoungLady I know this is always to post on the author's account, but I agree with you. amdaming authors na nawalan ng ganang magsulat dahil sa bullying at maling bintang. infact, kahit yung mga AI detectors hindi rin 100% realiable ang mga yan. yung iba fina-flag down na AI ang isang literary content kahit hindi naman. ang unfair nun para sa author. kaya mainam talagang maging patas na lang at huwag agad manghusga.
