Ok, a long time since I did one of these.
I just wanted to explain my recent radio silence, by saying I'm working on a new story. I've thought about sharing pilot and draft chapters, because I've been writing a lot of them to try and get a sense of the characters and their dynamics. They've changed a lot from my initial imagining as I try to make a cohesive team out of them. But, I have no idea what to call it.
Basically, it's about a trio of dragons, banished from their tribe and searching for a new home, finding friends and learning more about their world as they go.
Any suggestions for a title will be much appreciated, and once I have one I can start publishing snippets of the story to get some feedback! Or just start the story. Either way, title ideas needed!

Oof... Wow... Romance is harder than I thought.
I think I spent enough time developing this relationship in Guardians, so hopefully you'll all like it. All that matters is if it's believable, so let me know what you think of it. I need to work on how to write romance, so any feedback is welcome.
I just didn't want to drag out the "Will they, won't they" gambit. It's old, and tired. I like to see characters in stable relationships, personally.

Ok, well I'm off then. Enjoy having 2 chapters in one night! (Theyve both been written for a bit, and I've just been goign through editing little bits. I'm not that good to be able to just power through and write two whole chapters from scratch in one evening.

          Bye!

Well, just a heads up, since Wolf isn't that popular now, I reckon I might wrap it up in the next few chapters. I had some other ideas to put in there, but I'm running out of inspiration, and I've noticed my focus shifting from the main character Taree, to her brother Bobby, and I probably shouldn't do that too much.
So, I'm dragging it back to Taree, to close her arch, and bring the whole story to a close.
I just need to have a story labelled "Complete" for once, and I think Wolf has run its course.
So, go give that story a bit of love, let me know what I need to fix up, what chapters don't flow, and all that stuff.
Thanks for those who have supported Wolf, and I hope that eventually it can be seen by more.

Oh, wow, been a while, huh?
Apologies for my absence, but I've been struggling to find free time, not to mention for a while my laptop has been out of commission after I shattered the screen...
I'm getting the hang of my new job, and should be able to be more active online, but with my birthday coming up in a couple weeks, and me trying to make the most of technically being a "Child"before I turn 18, and have to vote, and do tax, and all that adult stuff that no one likes. but hey, bonus is that I can drink!
And just a heads up, I'm starting uni in november (Yes, I know, taking the third semester kinda defeats the point of summer, but oh well. This lets me catch up with people my age when I start uni next year.)so I'll probably drop off again about then while I get settled into studying again after 2 years. Gonna be weird to sit in a class room again...
Anyway, I'm gonna try to work on Guardians a bit, so I hope everyone is haveing a wonderful day, and I'll talk to you later.

Ok, so Big Hero 7 is down now. I took it down before, but was asked to put it up again. This time I think I'll keep it down. It's not a story I'm proud of, and I can't read it with a straight face anymore.
My apologies to anyone who liked it, as a good few thousand people seem to have read it, but this my own inner critic.
I also read some older chapters of Wolf, and am planning to redo them too. The wording can be very iffy, poor spelling, and inconsistencies with characters.
          So... yeah.

Rainbowpuffle43

Right then. Been a while huh?
So, I'm inspired to try my hand at Lost in Time (Working title, if you think of a better one, let me know) because I am currently, (drumroll) IN DENMARK!
It's really cool here, (Even though it's summer, compared to Australia this is winter XD) But seriously, the flora and fauna is so cool, and the architecture is insane! So, I dunno, I just wanted to set some fantasy story in a Denmark/Europe esk landscape. You know, Lush grass, big, thick trees, old buildings that have been standing longer than my country has been on the map, all that jazz.
So, let me know what you think of it, but I probably won't be writing much. It's officially been a week, and I've had the time to write one chapter of one story.
Busy times. Got another 4 weeks to explore, so don't expect much from me.
          Stay wonderful, my cupcakes!

Aww hell yeah, Denmark! I’m jealous man have fun!

Well, that and I've been studying Norse Mythology recently. If anyone has an idea for something I could write with this new knowledge, I'd love to hear it.
(Also, you should all read up on it. Marvel doesn't do it justice. It's a series of short stories in most versions, and it has a surprisig amount of consistency for a religion. Greek, for example, is all over the place. I mean, if you want an example, read up of Dionysus. You think you know him, but you don't. Might I reccoment Overly Sarcastic Productions? She's good at explaining.)

Alright. Wolf. Starting that again.
It's a pretty loose plot outline, so I'm interested if people who have read it want me to stretch it out with more adventures, or hurry up and end it.
If you want more adventures, I'm interested in ideas! If it fits in the plot, I'll use it.
I also have other characters yet to introduce, so I hope you like them when they come in!
Anyway, if you have an idea, or want to see more interactions between two characters, or more backstory on someone, or anything, let me know.
          See you all later!

OK, So I need help from everyone who reads this.
I've been going over my plot outline of Guardians, and it's just... Not gonna work... At all...
          BUT
If I make it a trilogy, I can make it work!
I've got the main conflict up, but I need to figure out how to stretch it out over three books with the basic Set up, Expand, Conclude, formula of a trilogy.
The main problem is the story starts when the characters are 19, but doesn't finish until they're well into their 20's. It's too many time jumps to flow well, so I need to figure out how to expand it to fill in the gaps.
Any idea, no matter how ridiculous, stupid or outlandish it is, is more than welcome. Outlandish and ridiculous is what I'm aiming for!
Thank you to all who offer help, and I'll try to get it up and going again soon!

@walkerofthestars yeah, that's my problem, because I'm trying to do that. I need to figure out how to set up a conflict for each book.
Ever book needs a climax, but I'm not sure how to fit one in... if I can do that, I can work in character development around that. Because the problem I have now, is too many time jumps, so you can't get to know the characters, and watch then grow.

Develop your characters in filler chapters between the gaps. Show characters during times when they’re not going crazy about the high stress environment brought with their story. It humanises them and can help you develop relationships with other characters believably as well as progress your characters through the story. Try finding the naturally low and high points in the story and sprinkle more low or high points in where things need to be balanced out.

A new chapater of Guardians.
          Kinda...
So, it's not a full chapter, but when doing my outline I couldn't figure out if it should be at the end of the last, or the start of the next, so... Eh.
It'll be one of the things I fix up in the editing process.
          Enjoy!

oh my god... I just watched How to Train Your Dragon 3.
Oh my god... That was such a bit part of my childhood. For 9 years, I've loved this series. And now... It's finished...
Hard to believe I was 8 when the first one came out.
If you're in the fence of watching it, I highly recommend that you do. It's a fantastic movie, with a neatly final ending. They left no room for another, and I'm glad. A 4th would just be milking.
But... That's my favourite series for the past 9 years ended. it was an emotional rollercoaster with my brother. Happy that it ended, but sad that... That's the end...
Anyway, what did you all think of it, if you've seen it?
