Hello, I go by Rainie Si! My first love for storytelling was first kindled by watching historical fiction Chinese television dramas with my parents from as early as I can remember. I was captivated by the rich narratives, complex characters, and immersive worlds that laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for fantasy literature.
As I grew older, I discovered manga and anime, which introduced me to diverse storytelling styles and fantastical concepts that influenced my creative vision. I eventually became an avid reader of fantasy novels, where I discovered the depth and possibilities that the written word could offer.
Drawing from multicultural influences-from classical Chinese storytelling traditions to Japanese visual narratives to Western fantasy literature- I try to bring a unique perspective to my writing. I hope my work will reflect my appreciation for character-driven stories that blend cultural elements with imaginative world-building.
Currently, I'm working on my debut project, My Angel Wings, a fantasy novel. It's still a work in progress, but I am happy to put it out to share with the world. Enjoy! ^^
