@AldySetiawan054 Hello! Sorry, I have been busy at work. To answer your question, the Dragon Prince has exhibited varieties of the elf race. There are other sentient races such as dragons and plantoids (only example so far is Elmer, Captain Finnegrin's First Mate). This implies there are more species, but they might not appear too often since the story I'm writing is focused on the island of Xadia.

@AldySetiawan054 I won't be doing the time skip. So a potential second book could cover those 2 years before Season 4 as well.

@AldySetiawan054 This current fanfic will only be able to cover Seasons 1-3. In this story, many events that happened in OG TDP might change or not happen at all. If I plan to cover more, I will write a separate book.

@RalphTheLiar I see, if you are ever interested, watch a video about which timeline and series to watch first because there are lots of different timelines now, I think you will like the world of Mobile Suit Gundam. And the reason I was asking, was because I was gonna suggest a crossover fanfic about Gundam and The Dragon Prince, but nevermind

@RalphTheLiar what I think is that the reason for skipping 2 years is because that time gap might have caused the show to take longer just to fill in that 2 year skip, maybe they could've just made 1 flashback episode specifically for that time skip but who knows, what is done is done.
            
            
            NHS is a really interesting concept since once I take notice of that kind of concept in other stories, I would know that it's an isekai country plot, for me as well, what makes it more exciting is if that country is superbly technologically advanced, like it has access to interstellar travel and etc. Although Japan is already technologically advanced in terms of eras since TDP's era is medieva-magi. (magi is intended) I really love isekai country stories especially when that Protagonist Country is technologically advanced than everyone.

@Gohan_Grey I liked Rayllum. Emphasis on the LIKED. I believe the off-season breakup was unnecessary. Reading a comic book to learn about the break-up shouldn't be a prerequisite.  They shouldn't have skipped two years before Season 4. They could have used Seasons 4 and 5 to portray those two years, including the break-up. Since Seasons 4 and 5 were nearly 50% filler.
            
            In the fanfic I'm writing, I can't say much about Rayla and Callum's relationship. That is if there is going to be a relationship. The appearance of Japan in the world of The Dragon Prince will certainly cause a butterfly effect. Things that happened in the TV series might never occur in the fanfic.

            I'm a TDP fan, too. I haven't encountered a lot of readers who are TDP fans. Or, at least, people who have watched TDP. Most of the readers are NHS fans. I've seen some isekai where Modern Earth meets Xadia. I could name a few of them: 
            1. "Teutonic traveler" by Tales of the Rose on Fanfiction.net.
            2. "Shadow of the Moon" by Tophatauthor on this site.
            3. "Indiana Jones and the Tree of Worlds" by ShortDrummer2 on AO3.
