if I were to say "returning junior" in the context of "Cj a returning junior...." what grade do you think of first?

@KayeAnders the attempt is to say he's been at the school before but he's not repeating a year level. but poetically written it gets confusing

@KayeAnders it's a weird attempt hey? I figured out trying "One such pupil was CJ. A returning student who was taking year eleven." It sits better I think but I imagine you wouldn't be sure which grade, 11 would be.
