GUESS WHO'S BACK WITH A CHAPTER FINALLY BEING RELEASED
The prologue has finally been rewritten! Give it a look, a lot's changed!
And I do mean A LOT. I added so much more detail and gave a previously almost unknown character a much bigger role on top of making it over 1000 words longer than before
Fun Fact: I'm not actually dead.
Another Fun Fact: I'm going to be redoing The Firebreak Legion from the ground up. I've had a lot of time to think about how I want the story to go and pacing, so instead of going through and just editing the existing chapters, I'm just starting fresh. Even though it means I'll probably lose all 45 views on it. A true travesty. (I'm being sarcastic about that last part)
Original drafts have been archived. Expect the re-writes within a few weeks or so. I just got a job so I might not have as much time as before, but I'm done with school now so I hopefully have more time on me than before.

You might be seeing another book from me fairly soon.
I may or may not have just gotten a lot of ideas.
So... you probably noticed that there hasn't been any continuation to the story for several months now and there's a bit of a reason for that.
Right now, I literally can't make myself write more than a couple sentences at a time for the current chapter whenever I have the motivation to write. For some reason, all creative ability just flies out the window whenever I try. I don't know why and it's really starting to get on my nerves.
That being said, would any of you care if I skipped that particular chapter for now, just so I can actually, you know, CONTINUE THE STORY? Being honest, it's kind of a filler chapter anyway, but it does showcase some interpersonal relationships, so I'm not just going to abandon it. But nothing much happens in it and I REALLY want to move on. Thoughts?
Wow, two edited chapters in one night, who knew I had it in me?
(now if only I could get myself to actually add to the story.)
OH. By the way, I have another story idea that I've been working on for a little bit now. Depending on how much depth I end up working into it. I'll let you guys know if it goes anywhere.
I'm sure most of you have noticed Reya and Vamiren speaking a different language on occasion.
You'll find out more about that very soon, translations included. You won't find any translations online because that language doesn't actually Exist. I made it up for this story.
Not sure if anyone remembers/cares that I exist, but I still do.
Anyway, depressing introductions aside, I want to continue writing but life has been consistently trying to beat me with a rock (and usually succeeding), so it's been a tad difficult.
That aside, I haven't had a lot of motivation to continue writing this book lately.
HOWEVER, that doesn't mean I'm going to stop entirely. Things are just going to be a lot slower. For now, I'm going to be re-writing earlier chapters. Be sure to be on the lookout, because there's going to be a few changes, most of which are relatively minor.
For instance, the name "Firebreak" will hereby be changed to "the Firebreak Legion". Things like that might change as well as added details. Oh and you might've noticed that the title of the book has changed, too.
Yeah, the book's getting a bit of a facelift.
Forewarning: the title of my book is probably going to change in the near-future. Still trying to think of a better name for it.
Oh, and the rating is going to change, too. There’s a lot stuff I plan to write that I REALLY don’t want younger kids reading. Be warned: if you couldn’t already tell, things are going to get heavy.
