UPDATE

RANDOM STILL HASN'T DONE SHIT ON YGGDRASIL AND EVERYONE IS STILL DISAPPOINTED IN HIM

RandomNumberGod

Since YGGDRASIL is being slow, I decided to buy myself some time.

It's a fairly cheap tactic used by insects and primitive hunter-gatherers, and it's rather demeaning to assume it will work on intelligent humans. However, if it worked against the entire main cast of the original Star Wars trilogy, it's good enough for me regardless.

I've published a commercial book that I already have on the Kindle store, Glass, in my account. There's no catch. Go read it if you're bored.

It's probably not as good as YGGDRASIL technically speaking, on the basis that it was written over two years ago, and so my writing style had not developed to the extent it has now, but it's a story I wrote, so it makes sense that it would be here.

Sorry, everyone. YGGDRASIL is coming slower than I expected already.

I guess you could call it "writer's block", but it's more like "I'm refusing", even though I'm trying.
Yes, writer's block can be irritating, but it's a viable excuse.
As it happens, this is not.

When I start the chapter, I find myself thinking, "This needs more padding".
So I try to pad it out and make it seem more natural, rather than writing a skeleton of plot points and dialogue.
I try, but the reality is that I have already decided: Chapter 5 needs padding, and I absolutely do not want to pad it.

So, for the moment, I am stuck.

It's annoying me, so I wrote it here. Now my lazy heart has to take responsibility for its actions.

Or at least, that's what I thought, but as my cursor moves to click "Post", a realisation strikes like daybreak.

My lazy heart never could be bothered to learn to read.
