Hey! Sorry about the inactivity of my story, I’ll get back to it once I’m done vacation on the 22nd of this month.
However, I’m writing this on a slightly more serious topic.
As most of you know im a well-known member of a discord group called “Warrior Cats Community Discord”, better known as WCD.
Unfortunately, long story short, a group of friends of mine, minors, in that server have been banned for private reasons, however when rumours were being passed around of claims of a ‘Feral NSFW’ topic within the ban, instead of the moderator team advocating and putting them down, they allowed the rumours to spread; the moderators joking themselves that the rumours would be “funny” if it came to others believing these MINORS were acting on ZOOPHELIA.
We tried to resolve the situation, and it took days of un-needed back-and forths. But that’s resolved and no longer the issue.
Our issue is how the moderators are now acting around the server. They have let inappropriate people roam free, and are extremely difficult to contact when it’s important.
I, recently, contacted WCD’s owner; Delta; a month ago as a messenger. I was met with silence and a block, even if my message contained a simple yes or no question that had no relation to this group or anyone else in particular. I was only looking for a simple conversation.
I asked Delta to text me within the server, and I was met again with ignorance. When a moderator warned me to stop “pestering Delta and bringing issues into chat” after two reminders, I confronted my side of the story. I was again met with silence by this mod. Delta has blocked me since March 7th.
Speaking from experience in moderating of large servers, I find this behaviour truly appalling, and therefore am sharing a video with proof of their actions to get the message around.
Please don’t harass WCD’s moderators over this! The only ways you can help are to leave WCD and spread the word around.
