Hey! I’m new here, but I still want to share my Wings Of Fire Fanfics with people, I know right now I have zero followers, but maybe someday that will grow! Here is a preview to a Wings Of Fire OC story I am currently working on! (It is the prologue!):
They have been tracking the SeaWings for a few days. Cardinal did not know why they were following through with this, apparently Copper saw an important general flee from the summer palace with a group of SeaWings. According to him, If they track the general down, they can have an advantage in the war, having all of their plans, meeting locations, and probably more ‘exciting’ SeaWing secrets. She rolled her amber eyes. Copper usually didn’t think things through. If Cardinal was a SeaWing fleeing from another tribe, the first thing she would do is hide where other tribes can’t go, underwater.
Hours passed, and even Cardinal’s strong wings started to get sore. She looked around at her small patrol, she sighed, they looked tired too. Even Copper, with all of his excitement to keep him going, was starting to slow down. She glanced around again, Cardinal could tell she wasn’t the only one thinking about rest. She could feel her anger rising, everyone knew that once Copper had an idea in his head, he would not stop until he succeeded.
Which is stupid, because they could literally be UNDERWATER, lizard brain! Why did you have to bring SkyWings, already tired by bombing the summer palace into this mess!
Cardinal growled under her breath and several orange and red heads turned towards her. Fine, She snorted, If none of these cowards will tell him we need to rest, I will!
With what little energy she had left in her large red wings, Cardinal soared over to Copper.
