Dear Followers,

I'm novelising the evergreen epic fairy-tale, Final Fantasy IX!

A princess teams up with a rag-tag bunch to stop her mother's warlike ambitions. The story is heart-warming, vast in its reach, hilarious in its comedy, heartbreaking in its climax.

Embedded with music, videos and artwork from the classic game!

Check it out, and remember to play the music video above every chapter heading!

I just finished the Gregory Grey and the Fugitive in Helika and it was a good read, thank you and keep up the good work. Hope to see the sequels in near future.

RanjitSanyal

@mhmhafniyaas Thank you for reading. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, there are sequels. The only thing authors want is to be read widely. If you don't mind, and if you know people who might like it, will you share and ask them to read?
            Cheers!

I loved Greg but i hated how it ended. Is there going to be a sequel?

RanjitSanyal

@kon-sama All mysteries shall be revealed... Eventually. This is a loooong saga. Heck, i wrote this one specifically to set the mysteries rolling. Got any feedback for me?

Dear Followers,

Something insane has been happening in the world for the last 20 years.

          Elon Musk.

The best way to introduce him: When Robert Downey Jr. was asked to play Iron Man back in 2006, he visited Elon Musk for inspiration. Why? Because Musk was the ONLY man in the world who ran his own private rocket company. Every other rocket company in the world was government-owned.

I write this post coz Musk did something crazy on Friday. Have you guys seen any rocket launches on TV or the Internet? We only ever see the rocket going up. Why? Because rockets don't ever come back down. Spaceships come down, rockets don't. They burn up during atmospheric reentry. Why? Because it's rockets don't have wings. They can't fly. They're too heavy to parachute down.

A cheap space launch costs roughly $150,000,000. 80-90% of that cost is the rocket. Y'know, the part that burns up then can't be used at all. At least, it couldn't be used... until this year.

Because sometime around 2000, Elon Musk decided this was a stupid, wasteful way to do things. He decided to what everyone before had said was impossible. He decided to make rockets REUSABLE!

Fourteen years later, on Friday, 8th August 2016, this happened:
          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPGUQySBikQ
It's the second time in history that a rocket was recovered after reaching orbit. The first time was also by Elon Musk's SpaceX company, back in December 2015. That was a land landing. This is a water landing.

Why is he doing this? Don't laugh - he wants to put a human city on planet Mars. This is not a man who's wasting money because he's a billionaire. This is a man who BECAME a billionaire JUST so he could put people on Mars.

You know what what else he does? Tesla - the world's first and only all electric car company. One man - two multi-billion dollar ventures no one's ever been successful at before.

Face it - he's Iron Man.

          Read his story here:

Tauranga is beautiful. I'm up north, a lot like Tauranga with lots of beaches.

@pixenglish Oh wow, someone's actually reading this stuff, huh? There's my incentive to write more! Your first chapter had me in hilarious giggles, but I'm gonna have to finish bingeing on Daredevil season 2 before I get into to your stuff.

I actually just got back to USA from NZ. I was in Tauranga for two months. It may just be the prettiest place to live in that I've seen. Where are you based?

Dear Followers, I love Taylor Swift.

Every time someone finds this out about me, they give me a look, like they can't make up their minds if I'm messing with them.

I'm not. I'm 26, grew up being devoted to Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, The Eagles, The Doors, Deep Purple, and just about every other rock god there is.

But I'm a hardcore swiftie for the same reasons I love those guys above. My favorite songwriters are all storytellers, and in pop music today, she's one of the best storytellers there is.

TS songs are all precious little vignettes, from experiences and emotions that are very, very fundamentally human. People keep wondering why her songs are so damn relatable. It's because they're not just songs - they're conversations! Her lyrics are like a sweet little summary of conversations ANy OF US might have - things you'd talk about with your own friends. Her genius is that she puts all those conversations into a 3-minute packet that says everything that needs to be said. Her lyrics feel relatable because at some point, we all have those same conversations, whether snarky, or wistful, or sarcastic, or angry.

My favorite Swift song is 'Begin Again'. What's yours?

          Cheers!

PS: You guys have any recommendations about similar songwriters?
