LIFE AND WRITING UPDATE
          
          I’m finally starting a new story. The first two chapters will be out on Sunday. I’ll tell you more about that in a minute. I’d like to explain first why I’ve disappeared from Wattpad. 
          
          So… you know I started university. I was really happy about that since I got into my first choice uni. I thought uni would be a breeze since I’ll be studying what I love. I was wrong. Nothing about this university is easy. My life has dwindled to studying, studying, and more studying. My mental health has taken a serious dive. I don’t regret my choice. I’ve made friends. I’ve learned a lot. I’m just sorry I had to give up my hobbies for that. I miss writing. I miss it so much. 
          
          I completed StK in the middle of 2023. I continued with Melanie’s story for a little bit, but then I started preparing for uni, and I stopped writing. I won’t be continuing the Royals this year. Instead, I’ll introduce you to a new couple. The reason for that is Benjamin. The sweet boy appeared in my head a year ago and refused to leave. His incessant chatter followed me throughout the hardships at uni, brightening my days. I think he deserves a story for all that persistence, don’t you think? You actually met Benjamin in a bonus chapter I wrote for StK. He went by the name of Timmy back then, which is his puppy name.
          
          There are two reasons why I’ve decided to start writing now. The first is that I feel like I’ve really let you down the past year. You’ve supported me throughout StK, made me reach a million reads, which is something I could only dream of, and made me confident in my own voice. It doesn’t feel right that I’ve left you. The second reason is that I think writing could help me with my mental health as long as I don’t try to adhere to any deadlines. Benjamin’s and Bruno’s story is a positive one. I’ve been smiling a lot while scribbling down notes on future scenes. The two of them are eager to meet you. I hope you’ll fall in love with them as much as I have.

Omg I spent 2 hours going insane looking for STK in my library and glad i actually found your username in the browser and be like 'wait a second, sounds familiar' and came here. Wattpad has taken down so many of good books from my library and doesn't even leave a trace. But hey here I am

          Also... I'M GOING ON HIATUS.
          
          Remember how last year I mentioned that I wasn't accepted into the college of my choosing so I decided to wait a year and give it another try? Well... I was accepted this year :D I'll be studying languages, my favorite field after creative writing, and I'm super excited about starting it. My head is filled with preparations for moving to a new city, meeting new people, searching for a job, and keeping up with my studies. I won't stop writing because of that. Writing is a part of me and I'll never stop. But I won't write as much or as fast, so I've decided to stop publishing instead of teasing you with a sporadic chapter or two. I'm not sure when I'll return, but I'm sure I'll have some exciting news for you once I do. Thank you for all your support on my writing journey <3

          You spoke with your fists
          more than you spoke with your words
          the hate poured out of you and onto me
          for all the things that weren't my fault
          
          You've beaten the fight out of me
          taught me not to run and tell 
          a lesson made in blood
          turned me into your slave
          
          You showed me kindness
          in rare moments you didn't make my life hell
          a manipulation or a nicer side to you
          I could never tell
          
          You fed me breadcrumbs
          made me treasure them like gold
          until I worshipped the ground you walked on
          and looked at you like one might look at God
          
          You upped and left
          never said a goodbye
          it hurt more than 
          the most painful fist and the cruelest lie
          
          You became a ghost
          haunted me for a decade
          showed up in memories and dreams
          and one summer night in real life
          
          I fell in your arms
          as if time never passed
          praying that you're a kinder man
          than you were a child
          
          I felt myself being rebuilt
          the broken pieces of me finally fit
          happy for the first time
          since I laid on a bedrest after an unfathomable crime
          
          I lived for the moments
          when you'd kiss me and I'd forget to breathe
          moments when you'd make love to me
          and my skin would start to buzz and sing 
          
          I lived in a fantasy
          caught inside your green gaze
          fantasy that fell apart
          when fortnights stopped being enough
          
          I was ready to leave everything I knew
          and follow you to the ends of the earth
          but then I found out the secret you kept
          and I knew life without you is what I had to accept
          
          I wasn't the person that needed you the most
          so I kept lid on my selfish desires 
          and made the hardest decision of my life
          to be the one to say goodbye
