@Rasmenia Hahah ugh. We just moved from the Sacramento valley to the PNW to get a little damp. Instead, we got walls of smoke and 95+ temps. I mean, on the upside, we already have those survival skills... -_- But it was really, really, disturbing driving through the Siskiyous. We were passing vista points, knowing that we should be seeing miles and miles of mountains and valleys and evergreen forests, and there was nothing. It was only smoke. :/

@ArdenBrooks Is it weird that I miss that miserable hellscape? Not that the UK is so bad, just a little damp. Okay... a lot damp.

Between the smoke and this freakish heatwave, the entire left coast has been a miserable hellscape -- trust me, I drove up and down it last week.

Hey, nice to fake meet you, too. I envy you being in Colorado right now. I grew up and lived in northern CO until I left to live overseas and still miss home. However, West Sussex is pretty great. I'm just a wee bit north of Brighton and go down there to hang out and meander among the wonderful weirdness whenever I have the chance. I joined this site a long time ago, but only recently did anything with it, so I'm still finding my way around and looking for some writey people I can hang with. Good to see I've found one. Cheers!
